Privacy Notice
Effective date: October 11, 2026
The short version
Find Money uses information from accounts you connect through SnapTrade to help you review your investments. We save connection details, transaction records, choices and review information so the app can work across visits.
The app can view account information. It cannot place trades or move money. Leaving an account out of a review, logging out, revoking access and deleting stored information are different actions. The details below explain what each does.
About Find Money
Find Money is the name used for this app and website. References to “we” or “us” in this notice mean Find Money. This notice covers information handled through the website, app, account connections and messages you send us.

Information used by the app
Sign in and connections
SnapTrade sign-in supplies an identifier and authorization tokens that allow Find Money to request account information. We store the identifier, connection permissions, tokens and related dates. The tokens are encrypted before they are saved. Brokerage authorization takes place through SnapTrade and your brokerage; Find Money does not ask you to enter a brokerage password into the app.
Supabase handles sign-in for older Find Money email-and-password accounts. When an older account is linked to SnapTrade sign-in, its saved information can remain associated with the new sign-in.
Account information
Depending on your authorization and what SnapTrade supplies, Find Money can receive account identifiers and names, brokerage and account types, balances, currencies, holdings, quantities, values, transactions and data-update information.
The findings focus on investment accounts. Account details, balances and holdings may be retrieved before the app decides which accounts to include. Leaving an account out in Settings changes the review; it does not narrow your SnapTrade authorization or erase information already stored.
Find Money saves transaction records, including earlier versions of some records. Raw transaction records are encrypted before storage. Fields used for calculations, such as amounts, dates and categories, are also stored separately.
Saved choices and reviews
We save the accounts you leave out, investment targets you enter, findings you mark as intentional, review summaries and reminder preferences. Previously saved management-fee answers may also be used. Reminder preferences can include a time zone and next review date.
Optional scan feedback
After a completed scan, Find Money can offer an optional three-question questionnaire. You can skip it. The invitation is offered once for a Find Money account, including when a scan has no findings or you have negative feedback.
We save your answers, the app account identifier, a randomly generated response identifier, invitation status, whether the invitation followed findings or no findings, and response dates. We do not automatically attach account balances, holding values, brokerage identifiers or an amount claimed as savings. Please do not enter account numbers or private financial details.
The optional checkbox says “You can share this feedback publicly without my name.” It is unchecked by default and is not required to submit feedback. We save that choice separately with the exact wording, its version and the time it was recorded. Unchecked feedback remains private. Permission does not publish an answer automatically. Any proposed quote needs review for identifying or private details that you may have included.
Technical records and messages
Hosting services receive technical information needed to handle requests, such as IP addresses, browser information and the page or route requested. They may retain request and error logs to operate and troubleshoot the service.
If you email hello@usefindmoney.com, the message and contact details you provide are handled by the email services delivering your message and the service hosting that inbox. Avoid sending financial information that is not needed to explain the issue.
Why this information is used
Agreeing to the Terms does not give blanket permission for new uses of your information or new recipients. Important connection information must also be provided when you authorize access. Changes remain subject to any notice or consent the law requires.
- To sign you in and maintain the connection you authorized.
- To retrieve account information and calculate findings.
- To remember your choices and compare reviews over time.
- To prepare a review reminder that you can save to your calendar.
- To operate and troubleshoot the app and handle messages about it.
- To collect optional feedback and record your separate choice about public anonymous use.
Findings come from programmed rules and calculations. They do not automatically change your investments.
Services that handle information
SnapTrade handles authorization and supplies connected-account information. Your brokerage also handles information under its own relationship with you.
OpenAI Sites provides the app platform. Cloudflare provides hosting and the D1 database used for app records. Supabase supports older Find Money sign-ins.
For some fund checks, the server retrieves public information from fund providers, currently including Vanguard, BlackRock and iShares. These requests identify the public fund page needed for the check. The lookup code does not send your name, account identifier, balance or transaction history to those pages.
If you open or import a calendar reminder, your chosen calendar service receives the event details. These include the review title, date, repeating schedule and app link, without holdings or balances. A downloaded calendar file also contains an event identifier.
Private feedback review copy
Google provides the private Google Sheet used for feedback review.
Optional feedback and its separate public-use permission are also copied to a private Google Sheet through an hourly synchronization process for review and management. The app does not send answers to Google Sheets automatically when they are submitted; the scheduled reconciliation is a separate process.
The copied fields are the random response identifier, submission time in UTC, the three answers, public anonymous quote permission, its exact wording and version, and the time that permission was recorded. Reviewers can add a review status and notes. The app account identifier is used to match feedback and permission during reconciliation but is not exported. Account values, brokerage identifiers and invitation metadata are not automatically included. Answers may themselves contain identifying or private information, so please do not enter those details.
If feedback is deleted from the active app database, its entire Sheet row, including reviewer notes, is removed at the next successful, complete reconciliation. Removal is asynchronous, not part of the app deletion transaction. A partial or failed source read must not trigger removal. An hourly schedule is not a guarantee of removal within one hour. Google version history and backups may retain earlier copies.
Cookies and local storage
Find Money uses a short-lived cookie to complete SnapTrade sign-in and a session cookie to keep you signed in. The connection cookie lasts up to 10 minutes and the session cookie up to 7 days, unless cleared sooner. Older Supabase sign-ins can also store session information in the browser. Blocking this storage may prevent sign-in from working.
Logging out clears the Find Money session and signs out the older local session when present. It does not remove server records or revoke the connection.
Stored information and deletion
Connection details, transactions, choices and review information are stored between visits. A newer transaction response can change the information used in a review while earlier records remain stored. There is no automatic account-history cleanup.
You can delete your Find Money account in Settings. This removes connection tokens, saved transactions including earlier versions, choices, targets, review history, reminder preferences, scan feedback and permission to quote it from the app’s active D1 database.
A minimal deletion record remains: the app account identifier, the SnapTrade sign-in identifier when present, and the deletion date. It contains no financial history or connection tokens. It blocks old Find Money sessions, requests and stale sign-in callbacks from restoring the deleted account.
Authorizing Find Money again after deletion starts a new, empty app account. It does not reopen the deleted account or restore its saved choices and reviews. A fresh authorization can retrieve newly authorized account history from the provider.
Deleting the app account does not delete a SnapTrade or brokerage account or revoke Find Money’s external access grant. Revoke access in SnapTrade separately. An older Supabase sign-in identity can remain. Hosting logs, provider records, backups, messages you sent us and calendar reminders you saved can also remain. The deletion control does not erase those copies.
You can change available choices in Settings. You can revoke Find Money’s access through SnapTrade to stop further authorized access once revocation takes effect. Revocation does not automatically remove information Find Money already holds. Removing an account from a review and logging out do not revoke access.
For questions about your information, including a request to access, correct or delete it, contact hello@usefindmoney.com. Do not include a password, verification code, authorization token or complete account statement.
Security
The app encrypts stored authorization tokens and raw transaction records. Other records, including some amounts, dates, preferences and review information, are not all encrypted by the app in that same way. Internet services carry security risks, and absolute protection cannot be promised. Protect your sign-in details and report a suspected problem to hello@usefindmoney.com.
Updates
Changes to data practices remain subject to any additional notice or consent required by the law that applies.
